D. Dean Williams
President, Vision Wine & Spirits (Just a mere executive)
Matt has been a valued member of Martignetti Companies for over twenty years, progressing through the positions of Sales Representative, District Manager, Assistant Sales Manager and General Manager. Prior to the Martignetti Companies, Matt held field sales management positions with the Pepsi Bottling group and started with E&J Gallo. Throughout his tenure, Matt has demonstrated outstanding leadership, management and employee development skills. This experience lays the foundation for his stewardship of this important role as Vice President of Vision Wine & Spirits.
Joe is Vision Wine & Spirit’s National Brand Director. Joe works with all spirit suppliers to make sure that the spirits, culture, and craftsmanship our global partners bring to the Vision portfolio is effectively delivered to Vision’s partners in the trade. Joe’s work in the beverage alcohol trade began in 2004 when he worked as a brewer for Harpoon in Boston, Massachusetts and Allagash in Portland, Maine.
Joe expanded his expertise by working as a distiller for Cold River in Freeport, Maine and later as the distillery’s National Sales and Marketing Director. He brings his sales and marketing experience, along with his expertise as a brewer and distiller, to his work as National Spirit Specialist. A craft spirit enthusiast and whisky specialist, Joe spends his time traveling around the US where you can find him holding tasting seminars and spirits events with our partners in the trade and enthusiastic consumers.
Caroline handles content marketing initiatives across the entire Vision Wine and Spirits portfolio. She quickly realized her passion for the wine and spirits industry early on in her career as a Key Account Manager working on the Bacardi portfolio. Prior to coming to Vision, she had been working in the field, managing a team of field specialists and marketing the Pernod Ricard portfolio in the on & off premise. Her true passion is connecting consumers to brands and sharing the amazing story of the people behind those brands.
Her educational background includes an MA in Communications and a BA in both Public Relations and Organizational Communications from the University of Akron in Ohio. She spends her free time traveling around the world, riding her beloved bicycle and practicing yoga poses.

Though a native of Providence Rhode Island, Josh Allen has been living in Los Angeles, California for over 17 years now. He has been in the wine and spirits business for over six years, as well as having spent many years behind the bar pouring at various establishments around greater LA. Josh’s previous employers include craft spirits distributors JVS Imports as well as Bock Wines and Spirits. Josh and his wife Michelle have two kids, their daughter Sienna and son Kaleb.
Jaaz F. De La Vega

I’ve been working in the industry for 12 years and love what I do. Born and raised in NYC I started in the service/ restaurant industry for 6 years, distributor 4 years and supplier for a little over a year and a half until I found a home here, so I feel well rounded going into the market place. Working for Vision is an amazing opportunity because I feel like we can make this company reach another level in one of the toughest markets and I love the challenge. My goal is to approach as many people as I can with our brands and to develop a culture of excitement and learning to the NYC consumer/ buyer. Education is key to building this out and I love every bit of it.

A recent Dallas transplant, Marquel oversees the Southwest region. Her previous experience as a regional manager with a boutique wine supplier has prepared her for the brand development focus within Vision’s portfolio and collaboration with our innovative supplier partners. Well acquainted with distributor networks across the country, the extensive communication needed to build business ensures her B.A. in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is put to good use. She continues to draw inspiration from this industry that highlights craft, passion and creativity.

Erik is responsible for our Mid Atlantic region. Most recently, Erik worked as the New England Regional Manager at 375 Park Avenue Spirits (a division of Sazerac Co.) promoting a craft spirits portfolio. Previously, Erik worked for a small Mexican spirit portfolio as their regional sales manager on the east coast. His career started as a field salesperson with Southern Wine and Spirits, including working directly with Martignetti Companies throughout New England. Erik is a former Division 1 athlete with a competitive spirit and experience in the Mid Atlantic market.

Steve is marking his 44th year in the Wine & Spirits business on the supplier side. His journey began when he joined Joseph E. Seagram’s Company as an Administrator in the national office on Park Ave and then in the Eastern Division on 800 Third Ave. The next seven years were spent in the fast moving NY/NJ markets as a Division Manager, managing portfolios of various hand-crafted wine and spirits. Through recruitment and business shifts, Steve’s career has covered new item launches of major brands, consolidation of portfolios and the management of entire divisions. Steve is a valuable asset in the vibrant and intense NY/NJ markets for Vision Wine and Spirits.

Betsy is an industry veteran, having spent her entire career in the adult beverage space. She started her journey at Guinness Import Company, a division of a much larger company that would one day become Diageo. Over a span of 15 years she managed distributors, took on Off-Premise National Accounts for the Midwest Region, and eventually moved into the On-Premise National Accounts arena. After 2 years at iMi Agency, a leading promotional agency that manages beverage platforms for major restaurant and hospitality chains across the U.S., she spent 9 years at Total Beverage Solution. Here she formed and managed a National Accounts On-Premise department, representing a diverse portfolio of International craft wines, beers and spirits. Along with her creative energy and passion for the industry, she brings to Vision her On-Premise expertise and in-depth knowledge of how large national restaurant chains operate.

After arriving in Los Angeles via Syracuse University, Joe quickly established himself in the Hollywood nightlife and cocktail community by successfully running high-end venues. As an aficionado of fine spirits, he launched an entity to provide sales, marketing, and event support for large international beverage companies as well as emerging craft spirits brands. This focus and appreciation of craft spirits and authentic brands underscores Joe’s place as the senior member of the Vision Wine and Spirits team. Joe oversees the Western United States, including his initial roots in California.

A Georgia native, Greg graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing, with emphasis on Sales and Sales Management, from Georgia Southern University. Pursuing his interest in the wine and spirits industry, Greg achieved the Society of Wine Educators certification as a CSW, Certified Specialist of Wine, which tests a candidate’s wine knowledge and mastery of key elements within the worlds of viticulture and wine production. This certification is widely recognized and regarded by the international wine and spirits industry. This level of expertise is a key element when working with distributors and suppliers for wine and spirits in the Southeastern United States.

Holly covers the Northeast and several Control States in other regions for Vision Wine & Spirits, working with Vision’s broker and distributor partners. Holly started in the wine and spirits industry in 1991 as a sales representative in Southern NH and knew she had found her niche. She has grown in the industry representing wine and spirits portfolios on the broker and supplier side of the business in over 15 markets. The opportunity to work with large and small companies and travel to wineries and distilleries around the globe has kept a 20+ year career exciting, fresh and challenging.
