At the same time, San Felice has won recognition as a very innovative producer and committed researcher.
Eloquent examples are its historic wine Vigorello, the precursor to the Supertuscan wines, and Pugnitello, made from the ancient Tuscan grape of the same name, which San Felice re-discovered and experimented with over many years, in collaboration with the University of Florence.
San Felice spans two outstanding territories: Chianti Classico and Montalcino. One estate for each production area, with vineyards and olive groves whose impeccable “terroir” is enhanced by modern cultivation techniques.
The Montalcino area has reached the highest peaks of excellence thanks to Brunello. The territory is clearly delimited by valleys and rivers and includes one of the world’s most renowned hills for the production of quality wines.

“This boasts enticing aromas of wild berry, pipe tobacco and violet. On the smooth, juicy palate, polished tannins lend lithe support to black cherry, crushed raspberry, truffle and a hint of baking spice. Drink through 2024. San Felice USA. Editors’ Choice.
