Campogiovanni 2014 Brunello di Montalcino scores among the top 10 wines in a blind tasting by The World of Fine Wine.

“On behalf of The World of Fine Wine, we are delighted to inform you that your wine, Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino 2014 has been evaluated in one of our blind panel tastings by Bruno Besa, Andrew Jefford, and Michael Palij MW and has scored among the top 10 wines in its tasting.”

Average Score: 90

Notes: “Expressive, generous aromas; warm and enticing, indeed this wine almost seems to have the expansiveness of a generous vintage to it. Vineyards in the south of the region? Plum fruits with violet finesse. There’s unusual generosity on the palate, too, and untrammeled ripeness: a big bow wave of fruit pushing forward. The tannins are soft and understated, and the acidity is ripe in style and balanced. Holly leaf on the finish, but that adds freshness, zest, and excitement. Wholly successful in the vintage context.” Andrew Jefford
